The MPS devised a strategy to arrest the Chinese suspects who were based in the Philippines when they went back to China for vacation in June 2023. The MPS divided its soldiers into multiple units and carried out police operations in more than 20 provinces, "including Henan, Hebei, and Hunan."
The 93 suspects were apprehended as a result of this meticulously thought-out operation, along with their bank cards and cell phones. Following the investigation, the scope of the illicit platform and its $100.8 billion "running account" were just made public.

The illegal Philippines operation's dismantling is a significant victory for the MPS and Beijing's 2020 pledge to establish a "blacklist" system for illicit cross-border gambling tourist destinations, including the Philippines.
